  "description_for_model": "Hotel search API for AI agents, available as an MCP server (https://api.vistalink.com/mcp) and a REST API. Each property is indexed on its own photography, its guest reviews, and its location, so a query is matched on all three rather than on stars and price. No API key is needed for search_hotels (structured search by location, dates, budget, amenities, vibe) and get_hotel_details (full hotel profile with photos, reviews, rooms, prices): anonymous calls are read-only, limited to 10 requests/minute and 200/day per caller, return at most 20 results per search, and use the real catalogue. Pass both check_in and check_out to get, where one was observed in the last 72 hours, the all-inclusive price (taxes and fees included) for exactly that stay, for one room; without dates there is no price. A Bearer API key (vl_test_* or vl_live_*) unlocks higher limits and chat_about_hotels (natural-language multi-turn discovery). Coming soon, not yet available: account linking (sign in with Parley), get_rates (live all-inclusive rates in any currency) and direct_book (booking completes on the hotel's own payment page via a Parley checkout link; VistaLink never takes payment).
